St. Kate’s MLIS Student Governance Organization (SGO) is the representative body for all MLIS students, acting as a liaison to and advocate for students in the MLIS program, the faculty, and the university as a whole. All MLIS students are welcome to attend SGO meetings and to run for office and committee positions. Becoming involved in SGO is one of the best ways for students to learn about more the program and university. Serving on committees is a great way to gain experience with organizational decision-making and to meet leaders in the university.

Please visit the St. Kate’s MLIS program website for more information about the  program. We also encourage all students to subscribe to the MLIS program’s blog or check it on a regular basis for useful program information and postings for internships, research assistantships, and jobs. Those of you on Facebook may also find it useful to join the official MLIS program page for regular updates.
